Google Search Date Range: No Claims Outside the File
Pick the printed bounds, then date every total to the google search date range. Open the CSV once. Do not narrate last quarter if the window ends Tuesday.

TL;DR
Direct answer: A **Google Search Date Range** is the only legal window for a total. If the Performance CSV ends on a Tuesday, you may not narrate last quarter. Re-export to widen the claim. Overlay an algorithm week only when those calendar days sit inside the file.
What you will learn: why a Google Search Date Range is the only legal window; how seo-health gsc differs from eight lights; an illustrative window × claim-type table; four leaks you must delete.
Paste a public URL at SEO Health for title, meta, headings, density, images, links, tech, and speed lights. Those lights are not a Google 100. A Google Search Date Range is a file job.
We evaluate Google Search Date Range hands-on as the InfiniSynapse Data Team. We build InfiniSynapse so the CSV stays the source of numbers and a long task narrates inside that window.
What the file window actually is
Key Definition: A Google Search Date Range is the start date and end date printed on the Performance export you uploaded. Every impression, click, CTR, and position total must be re-summable from rows inside those two dates. Days before the start, days after the end, and “the quarter we remember” are out of scope.
Observed CLI contract (2026-09-10, infinitegrowth@0.1.1): For this Search Console overlay pass, the same two public URLs were re-used so this page does not invent a private run. seo-health check https://infinisynapse.com/en/blog/data-agent-memory --format json --lang en exited 0 with page.title present and Image Alt Text = warning. The same command on https://example.com also exited 0 while issues[].status listed error on Meta Description, Robots.txt, and Sitemap.xml. Parse those status fields. Exit 0 is not a clean page. Desk tables below stay illustrative.
Independent citation: According to [RFC 3339](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3339), RFC 3339 profiles ISO 8601 timestamps for internet protocols. IETF's RFC 3339 page is the third-party rule this write-up holds to. Illustrative desks below are not that rule.
People search Google Search Date Range when a paragraph names July and the filename stops on 7 September. The file is the evidence. Cadence is your calendar. After this definition, call the object the file window.
A time series is a sequence of observations indexed by time, which is why a total that ignores the export’s start and end dates is not a measurement.
The older property-analysis page keeps its own target. This cluster page will not retarget that phrase.
Dates printed on the export
Name the file with the start date and the end date before you ask. A Google Search Date Range that lives only in a screenshot will be forgotten by the second follow-up.
RFC 3339 describes a common internet profile for date and time strings so two systems can agree on the instant. Use that discipline on the filename.
If you cannot say “this total is for 11 August through 7 September,” you are not ready to narrate. Re-export. The Google Search Date Range is those two printed days, not a quarter you remember from a slide.
Algorithm weeks only if they sit in the file
Overlay a core-update week only when those calendar days are rows in the CSV. A Google Search Date Range that starts after the update week cannot support “we dropped because of that update.”
Python’s datetime library documents calendar arithmetic so a human can check whether a Tuesday sits inside the printed window before a model narrates last quarter. If you need a wider story, re-export.
A four-layer window framework
Treat the window as four stacked controls. Skip one layer and a Google Search Date Range becomes a slogan.
| Layer | What stays true | What the model may do | Failure if skipped |
|---|---|---|---|
| File | RFC-shaped CSV you exported | Read rows in a task workspace | Chat invents a property |
| Window | Dates printed on the export | Narrate only inside those dates | Totals leak from memory |
| Cells | Impressions, clicks, position | Quote, rank, and group rows | Rewritten numbers |
| Ask | One job per turn | Point at rows inside the window | A strategy essay with no row |
Keep those four layers stacked. Remove the file, the window, or cell fidelity and you have a guess.
A Kubernetes CronJob runs on a schedule you declare; it does not invent a run that happened outside that schedule. Read your export the same way.
Cells stay inside those dates
Cells stay the source of numbers. When a sentence cites 12,400 impressions, those impressions must sit inside the Google Search Date Range on the file. If a human cannot replay the sum, the sentence is not analysis.
The model must not rewrite cells. Sampling and anonymized queries stay limits, not a keyword-gap API.
Dated file versus a live property
Paste a public URL at SEO Health for eight lights. A Google Search Date Range is not those lights. The free checker will not ingest the CSV.
A sampled site audit pulls 50–500 sitemap URLs and scores title, meta, headings, density, images, links, tech, and speed. That sample can explain why a URL is ineligible. It cannot widen a Google Search Date Range.
Chrome can finish the eight lights locally. AI EEAT uploads structured data plus body text and needs login plus credits. GSC is the same credit class. The pillar hub on how to analyze Search Console with AI still treats the dated file as the only legal set of rows.
Lights versus a dated export
Lights answer “is this URL shippable.” The CSV answers “which queries already see this URL.” Do not expect lights to invent a longer Google Search Date Range.
A strategy board is a different room from a dated Performance CSV. You may open that board after you pick a visible row. You may not use it to back-fill days the file never contained.
A service-case traffic story is not proof that SEO Health printed a Google 100 or a longer file window.
Landscape: who should lock the dates
Lock a Google Search Date Range when you own the export, can name the start and end, and will assign one change. Skip the long task if you only need eight lights.
Content leads use a 28-day file to find high-impression, low-click rows. They do not brief “Q2.” Clicks are not an EEAT grade. Analysts lock the Google Search Date Range so two write-ups cannot invent two windows from one CSV.
Apache Airflow’s cron scheduling guide treats the timetable as the only legal set of execution dates. If the job did not run on a day, do not report that day.
npm i -g infinitegrowth installs the CLI. seo-health gsc reads the file you pass. EEAT, visibility, and GSC narration need login and credits. Do not paste tokens in a spare column.
When a spreadsheet is enough
A 200-row export with one intent does not need a model. Filter the dates you printed and pick three URLs. Bring the long task when the file is wider and you still refuse to claim days outside the Google Search Date Range.
If hidden strings appear, send that question to anonymized queries in GSC. Stay here when the miss is a leaked quarter.
How to lock the file window
The CSV stays the source of numbers. InfiniSynapse reads the file in a task workspace and narrates inside that window.
Follow these four steps. Do not paste a screenshot. If you cannot name the file dates, you are not ready to lock a Google Search Date Range.
Step 1 — Export with dates you can defend
In Search Console, open Performance, set the picker, and export query and page dimensions. Write the start date and the end date on the filename. A Google Search Date Range that is only a mental note will fail the second ask.
The ISO 8601 date and time format is the civil standard for writing those bounds so a filename and a cell can be compared.
Step 2 — Name the file before you ask
Sign in with the InfiniSynapse account that holds credits. Upload the Performance CSV in SEO Health or run seo-health gsc with that file. Confirm the workspace shows the same day count as the filename.
If the labels disagree, stop. Re-export. Do not type a new total into chat. A Google Search Date Range is a property of the file, not of the prompt.
When the job is the upload itself, open GSC export for SEO Health after the dates are honest.
Step 3 — Overlay only weeks inside the file
Ask one job that names a column. Every cited total must name the Google Search Date Range on the upload. If an algorithm week matters, check that those days exist as rows. A new picker setting is a new file.
Step 4 — Re-export to widen the claim
Need last quarter? Return to Performance, set the picker, export again, and upload the new file. The old Google Search Date Range is retired, not stretched.
Replay every cited total in a sheet. If the write-up says 4,200 clicks, sum the click column. Mismatch means you keep the cell. Then run eight lights on the URL you might change.
Independent citation 2: According to [ISO 8601](https://www.iso.org/iso-8601-date-and-time-format.html), ISO 8601 is the international standard for date and time representation. A second independent source, from ISO, keeps this page claim from resting only on first-party lights.
Desk sample: illustrative window versus claim type
The chart and table below are illustrative. They use two dimensions — export length and claim type — on a fictional desk pass dated 2026-09-09 (DESK-IG310-20260909A). They are not a customer lift and not a Google score.
Illustrative two-dimension desk chart (window length × in-file vs out-of-file claims). Not a customer report. Social cut: ./images/og-cover.png. Source file: ./images/chart-google-search-date-range.png.
| Window length (illustrative) | In-file claims | Out-of-file claims |
|---|---|---|
| 28 days | 12 | 5 |
| 3 months | 18 | 3 |
| 16 months | 21 | 2 |
Desk note: the 28-day file still produced five out-of-file sentences. A longer Google Search Date Range reduced leakage because the claimed days were finally in the file.
How to read the grouped bars
Each cluster is a window length. Each bar is a claim family. In-file claims are sentences a sheet can replay. Out-of-file claims are sentences you must delete or re-export to support. If your run differs, trust your run.
Scorecard for an honest window
Score the job, not a vanity 100, before you treat a Google Search Date Range as closed. Credits do not buy extra days.
| Check | Pass | Fail |
|---|---|---|
| File is a Performance CSV you exported | Dated filename, query × page columns | Screenshot or “top queries” slide |
| Window is explicit | Every total names the dates | “Recently” or “this quarter” with no file |
| Cells unchanged | Sheet replay matches the write-up | Model rounded or filled gaps |
| Overlay is in-file | Algorithm week sits in the rows | Update week named, days missing |
| Next action is one URL | Title, indexation, or schema ticket | A twelve-page strategy |
A pass means you may ask again on the same file. A fail means you return to the picker. Credits do not lengthen a Google Search Date Range.
Failure modes that leak dates
Window leakage. The file is 11 August–7 September, then the paragraph mentions July. Delete the sentence. That July claim sat outside the Google Search Date Range.
Stretched picker. Treating a 28-day file window as “recent enough” for a quarterly review is a fail. Re-export. Do not average.
Rewritten cells. A paragraph that changes 12,400 to “about twelve thousand” no longer has a source of numbers.
Mixing rooms. A dated narrative is not eight lights, not an EEAT grade, and not an official Google health score. If eligibility is the blocker, stop. If the HTML is fine and the CSV shows low CTR inside the Google Search Date Range, then run a title test.
Cluster guides beside this page
This page isolates the window rule. Open one row when you have that job.
| Job you actually have | Guide to open next | What this page will not do |
|---|---|---|
| Narrate the export without a second ledger | Analyze Search Console with AI | Restate the whole hub |
| Leave hidden strings unlabeled | Anonymized queries in GSC | Invent a query list |
| Sign in and upload the dated CSV | GSC export for SEO Health | Walk the upload clicks |
| Read query × page collisions | GSC query × page report | Finish that matrix here |
Do not retarget “content ideas,” “keyword monitoring,” or “weekly GSC review” on this URL. A Google Search Date Range stays a file window.

Can I narrate last quarter from a 28-day file?
Bottom line: No. A Google Search Date Range that ends on a Tuesday cannot support a quarter that includes June. Re-export with the quarter in the picker, then upload the new file.
Do algorithm-update weeks count if they sit outside the export?
Bottom line: No. Overlay those weeks only when the calendar days are rows. If they are not, widen the Google Search Date Range with a fresh export. Memory is not a row.
Does the model get to rewrite a cell to fit a story?
Bottom line: No. Cells stay the source of numbers. If a sentence disagrees with the CSV, keep the cell. Credits buy narration inside the window, not a cleaner ledger.
Do I need a login to paste one URL for eight lights?
Bottom line: No. Title, meta, headings, density, images, links, tech, and speed lights on a public URL stay free. EEAT, visibility, and a GSC read need login plus credits. Chrome stays local unless you start AI EEAT. The Google Search Date Range still comes from the file, not from lights.
Conclusion
A Google Search Date Range is the start and end printed on the Performance CSV. No claims outside the file. Re-export to widen. Overlay algorithm weeks only if those dates are in the file. Sampling and anonymized queries stay limits.
Start with a public URL at SEO Health if the HTML is still red. When the file is ready, sign in, upload the CSV, and run seo-health gsc. Open the InfiniSynapse web app only for that signed-in task. Replay every total against the Google Search Date Range before you retitle.
