A missing font can be substituted for viewing without changing the font assigned in the source, yet the replacement can change line length, wrapping, alignment, character coverage, and layout. Microsoft documents that its modern font picker can identify missing fonts and that embedded fonts may be viewable on supported devices. Availability still depends on font licensing, embedding settings, platform, and PPTX viewer support.

A static thumbnail does not prove playback. Test each critical animation trigger, transition, audio clip, video, narration, caption track, and poster frame from the beginning and after seeking. Confirm volume, timing, sequence, looping, links versus embedding, codec availability, network dependency, and whether the destination PPTX viewer preserves or flattens the feature.

Some items can be found or removed by Document Inspector; some require manual review, and removal may not be reversible.
