Supported Markdown Syntax

This converter follows the widely used CommonMark conventions for Markdown, covering the elements most documents need.

Headings and text

Use # through ###### for headings, **bold** for bold, *italic* for italics, and `inline code` for inline code.

Lists and tables

Bulleted lists (- item), numbered lists (1. item), and pipe tables render into the PDF with consistent spacing and borders.

Code blocks and quotes

Fenced code blocks (triple backticks) keep monospaced formatting, and blockquotes (> quote) render with an accent border — all preserved in the exported PDF.

FAQ

Is my Markdown uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing and rendering happen entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server, which makes the tool safe for confidential documents.
How is the PDF generated?
The formatted document opens in a clean print view and uses your browser's built-in Save as PDF option, which produces selectable, searchable text rather than a flat image.
Which Markdown features are supported?
Headings, bold and italic text, inline code, fenced code blocks, ordered and unordered lists, tables, blockquotes, links, images, and horizontal rules. See the CommonMark spec for full syntax.
