## What this file is

A downloadable record of a wiki sentence that treated Claude Code as “our SQL writer,” versus a rewrite that treated the editor as a caller and left a memo, two charts, and a CSV under one matched `/tasks` id. Companions: [aggregate CSV](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/what-is-claude-code/downloads/aggregate-CC-WHATIS-20260822.csv) and [verify script](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/what-is-claude-code/downloads/verify-CC-WHATIS-20260822.py). It is **not** a named-logo customer case, a vendor bake-off, or an ISO / NIST / Stanford / Anthropic experiment.

## Six-step disclosure method

1. Record Claude Code version, model, surface, permissions, config, hooks, and MCP.
2. Record first-party CLI/instruction hash; no public install command is asserted.
3. Issue separate scoped credentials without publishing values.
4. Record source authorization/snapshot and goal/SQL constraints.
5. Preserve IDs, status, timestamps, errors, SQL/artifact hashes, baseline, failures, and wall-clock definition.
6. Run reviewer protocol and disclose conflicts of interest.

## Source and goal

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | Read-only replica the desk is authorized to read |
| Goal asked twice | Same revenue pack on the read-only replica |
| Contrast | IDE paste only vs shared task (matched id) |

## Results

| Retrieval state | SQL | Memo | Chart | CSV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IDE paste only | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Shared task (matched id) | 1 | 1 | 2 | 1 |

Wall-clock for the successful run: 25 minutes (warehouse time excluded).

## What you may cite

- Artifact counts 0/0/0/0 → 1/1/2/1, ~25 min wall-clock, run ID, finance partner opened SQL in `/tasks`

## What you may not claim

- Customer speedup %, official EEAT score, named-logo case, or that NIST / Stanford / Anthropic / Cursor / WAIC scored this run

## Validation boundary

No independent third-party reproduction or media assessment was known as of 2026-08-28. The aggregate CSV contains two observations and is not raw, customer, source, or third-party data.
