**Status:** First-party InfiniSynapse desk log (sanitized composite; not a customer extract)

**Run ID:** `FLF-WPF-20260822`
**Date:** 2026-08-22 (Saturday)
**Operator:** InfiniSynapse Data Team
**Attestor:** William Zhu, InfiniSynapse cofounder ([GitHub @allwefantasy](https://github.com/allwefantasy))

## What this file is

A downloadable record of opening a desktop viewer versus authorizing one Monday Parquet file as a source. It is **not** a named-logo customer case, a vendor bake-off, or a Dryad / re3data / GO FAIR experiment.

## Four-step method (reproducible)

1. Sanitize leftover debug columns. Register path, owner, and allowed use.
2. Profile footer types, nulls, and leftover columns.
3. Ask one grain: return rate by SKU for this week, denominator = orders, exclude SKUs with under 20 orders.
4. Inspect path, columns read, and row count against the footer. Re-ask after the note is corrected.

## Source and goal

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Sources | One Monday file, `orders_week32.parquet` (~380,000 rows, 46 columns) |
| Standing goal | Return rate by SKU for this week, denominator = orders, exclude SKUs with under 20 orders |
| Contrast | Viewer-as-definition vs source-then-ask |

## Results

| Retrieval state | Path registered | Footer + leftover column profiled | Grain written + count matched |
|---|---|---|---|
| Viewer-as-definition | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Source-then-ask | 1 | 1 | 1 |

Wall-clock for the successful source rerun: 10 minutes (warehouse time excluded). The clock started when the operator opened the standing goal and ended when the registered path, the three-column ask, and the footer count sat side by side.

## What you may cite

- Artifact counts 0/0/0 → 1/1/1, one Monday file + ~380k rows + 46 columns on this run, ~10 min wall-clock, run ID

## What you may not claim

- Customer uplift %, a faster viewer, official EEAT score, named-logo case, or that Dryad / re3data / GO FAIR / DuckDB / DataCite / W3C / ISO / Gartner / WAIC scored this run
