## What this file is

A downloadable record of treating a nightly dump as the login versus issuing a SELECT-only role and inspecting the SQL. It is **not** a named-logo customer case, a vendor bake-off, or a Wikimedia / Common Crawl / Internet Archive experiment.

## Four-step method (reproducible)

1. Create a SELECT-only role. Revoke write and DDL.
2. Prove the revoke with a write that must fail.
3. Ask one goal: open tickets older than seven days by queue, excluding spam.
4. Inspect the SQL. Confirm SELECT-only.

Wall-clock for the successful live rerun: 10 minutes (warehouse time excluded). The clock started when the operator opened the standing goal and ended when the issued role, the failed write, and the inspectable SQL sat side by side.
