## What this file is

A downloadable record of the `status = 3` collision. It documents the six-step method, the two dictionaries, the 9,600 / 0 flip, and the artifact inventory. The companion [aggregate CSV](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/schema-documentation-for-ai/downloads/aggregate-KB-SCHEMA-STATUS3-20260822.csv) contains only the published aggregate rows—not the 9,600-row extract. The companion [verify script](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/schema-documentation-for-ai/downloads/verify-KB-SCHEMA-STATUS3-20260822.py) checks those published rows only. No independent reproduction was known as of 2026-08-28.

## Six-step method (reproducible)

1. Pick one table you are authorized to read. Prefer a replica or sanitized extract.
2. Write notes for the five columns people actually ask, including a code table.
3. Upload the dictionary, then bind it to that source. Binding is a separate action from upload.
4. Ask one goal with the source selected.
5. Open `/tasks` and confirm the retrieved row names the code you trust.
6. Ask the same column again. A successful replay cites the same row, not a louder wiki.

## Source and goal

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | Sanitized 9,600-row accounts extract the desk is authorized to read |
| Source grain | One row per sanitized account record |
| Source version | Fixed desk extract dated 2026-08-22 |
| Column | `status` |
| Ops wiki meaning | `3` = active |
| Finance dictionary meaning | `3` = pending review; `5` retired |
| Bind mapping | Finance dictionary ↔ authorized accounts extract |
| Retrieval configuration | Bound-dictionary retrieval; configuration values not published |
| Unbound baseline | Same goal with the louder ops wiki and no bound finance dictionary |
| Goal asked twice | “How many accounts are active?” |

## Results

| Retrieval state | Treated as active | Treated as pending review |
|---|---|---|
| Ops wiki louder | 9,600 | 0 |
| Bound finance dictionary | 0 | 9,600 |

Nothing in the database changed. The bound notes changed what was allowed to count as active.

## Task artifacts

| Retrieval state | SQL | Memo | Chart | CSV | Finance row cited |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ops wiki louder | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | No |
| Bound finance dictionary | 1 | 1 | 2 | 1 | Yes |

Wall-clock for the bound rerun: 10 minutes (warehouse time excluded).

## Minimum disclosure for independent replication

Disclose source grain, row count, and version; dictionary versions and owners; code mappings; bind mapping; retrieval configuration; query, SQL, and retrieved passage; the unbound baseline; all results and failures; run time; and commercial conflicts of interest. Publish confirming and conflicting results.
