## What this file is

A downloadable record of opening a store ticket before anyone asked the files versus asking the Parquet set first. It is **not** a named-logo customer case, a vendor bake-off, or a Dublin Core / Library of Congress / Apache experiment.

## Four-step method (reproducible)

1. Sanitize leftover columns. Register paths, owner, and allowed use.
2. Ask one goal on the files: return rate by SKU for the last six complete weeks, denominator = orders.
3. Open the plan and reconcile row counts to the set.
4. Write the promotion rule, or write that it is false. Close the store ticket if the files already answer.

## Source and goal

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Sources | Twelve weekly parquet parts (~4.0 million rows) plus a platform ticket titled “stand up a store for returns” |
| Standing goal | Return rate by SKU for the last six complete weeks, denominator = orders |
| Contrast | Ticket-first vs ask the files first |

## Results

| Retrieval state | File ask completed | Ticket closed without store | Promotion rule written |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ticket-first | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Ask the files first | 1 | 1 | 1 |

Wall-clock for the successful file ask: 10 minutes (warehouse time excluded). The six-week ticket wait is the contrast, not this clock. The clock started when the operator opened the standing goal and ended when the file pack and the closed ticket sat side by side with the promotion rule written as false.

## What you may cite

- Artifact counts 0/0/0 → 1/1/1, 12 weekly parts + ~4.0M rows on this run, ~10 min wall-clock, run ID

## What you may not claim

- Customer uplift %, a faster catalog, official EEAT score, named-logo case, or that Dublin Core / LOC / Apache / Gartner / WAIC scored this run
