**Date:** 2026-08-22 (Saturday)

## What this file is

A downloadable record of a dual-owner “active store” pack versus a split with one signed winner. Companions: [aggregate CSV](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/metric-definition-drift/downloads/aggregate-OAM-DRIFT-20260822.csv) and [verify script](https://infinisynapse.com/blog-media/metric-definition-drift/downloads/verify-OAM-DRIFT-20260822.py). It is **not** a named-logo customer case, a vendor bake-off, or a Linux Foundation / OWASP / Gartner experiment.

## Four-step method (reproducible)

1. Rerun last week’s standing goal without editing the sentence.
2. Diff numbers, then diff retrieved passages.
3. Classify each move: world, language, grain, exclusion, or alias.
4. Split the term or pick a signer. Rerun until the passages match.

## Source and goal

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Sources | Read-only replica + two sanitized definition pages |
| Standing goal | Same KPI pack, last complete week, “active store” |
| Contrast | Dual-owner pack vs split + signed winner |

## Results

| Retrieval state | Two pages retrieved | Passages match | Source rows unchanged |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dual-owner pack | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Split + signed winner | 0 | 1 | 1 |

Wall-clock for the successful post-split rerun: 13 minutes (warehouse time excluded). The clock started when the operator opened the standing goal and ended when both folders sat side by side with the featured queries open.
