# Independent reproduction protocol BVA-OPEX-20260831

## Purpose

This protocol lets an unaffiliated finance or analytics practitioner test the version-and-driver method on a separately obtained authorized or public dataset. Publishing the protocol is not an independent reproduction.

## Procedure

1. Declare identity, affiliation, compensation, commercial conflicts, and dataset rights.
2. Publish the entity and period grain, named budget version, close cutoff, currency and FX source.
3. Publish account, cost-center, and restatement maps with version identifiers and hashes.
4. Record exclusions, driver join keys, source versions, query, calculation code, and failed joins.
5. Produce a driver table and memo, then have a second practitioner recalculate the reported variances.
6. Publish confirming and conflicting findings, limitations, and non-sensitive artifacts.

## Acceptance criteria

A qualifying report must be authored outside InfiniSynapse, disclose conflicts, use a source independent of the private desk composite, identify all comparison versions, expose reproducible arithmetic, and report both successes and failures. Running the first-party CSV verification script alone does not qualify.
